The Art of Painting
The ART of PAINTING class begins soon!
The cost is $275.00 for the entire series of four 3-hour classes (4 Saturdays: September 22, 29, and October 6, 13). The hours of the classes are 2PM to 5PM, and the price includes all materials.
Ken Gunnells is the artist that will be teaching the course, and it will cover color mixing, brush technique, perspective, shadow and light, composition, underpainting, washes and glazing. This is all taught and practiced in the first two sessions.
The final two classes will be a painting created by you (subject matter of your choosing) using the techniques you have learned while implementing your own style! Ken will offer assistance, insight and direction during this period.
Please feel free to bring in anything that will inspire you to create your canvas, such as a photo, painting, object, etc.
